2004 Acura 3.5RLSECTION Ambient Temperature Indicator

If indicator displays 888.8 for more than 2 seconds after selecting ambient temperature display mode, check for open in Brown/White wire between instrument cluster 30-pin connector "A" terminal No. 19 (3.5RL) and ambient temperature sensor. If circuit is okay, test sensor. See AMBIENT TEMPERATURE SENSORΒ  under COMPONENT TESTS. If sensor tests okay, replace instrument cluster.
