Intermediate Shaft: Disassembly
2004 Acura 3.5RLSECTION Disassembly
- Remove the set ring. See Fig 1 .
- Remove the intermediate shaft outer seal from the bearing support.
- Remove the external snap ring and the internal snap ring. See Fig 2 .
- Press the intermediate shaft out of the shaft bearing using a press. See Fig 3 .
- Press the intermediate bearing out of the bearing support using handle driver, driver attachment, intermediate shaft bearing and a press. See Fig 4 .
- Remove the intermediate shaft inner seal from the bearing support. See Fig 5 .
- Remove the "O" ring.
