PRECHARGE Pump Motor: Removal

CAUTION:
Do not spill fluid on the vehicle; it may damage the paint; if brake fluid does contact the paint, wash it off immediately with water. To prevent the brake fluid from flowing, plug and cover the hose ends and joints with a shop towel or equivalent material. Take care not to damage or deform the brake lines during removal and installation.
- Disconnect the precharge pump motor 2-pin connector. Disconnect the brake line and the brake hose from the precharge pump motor.
- Remove the three 6 mm bolts from the precharge pump motor, then remove the precharge pump motor with bracket. Remove the two 6 mm bolts and 8 mm nut, then remove the precharge pump motor. See Fig 1 .
