Seat Heater Switch

2004 Acura 3.5RLSECTION Seat Heater Switch

Remove heater switch from console. See SEAT HEATER SWITCHESΒ  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Using ohmmeter, verify continuity between terminals in each switch position. See SEAT HEATER SWITCH CONTINUITYΒ  table. See Fig 1 . If continuity does not exist as specified, replace faulty heater switch.

SEAT HEATER SWITCH CONTINUITY

Position Continuity Between Terminals No.
Off (1)
High (2) 4 & 5; 4 & 6
Low (2) 5 & 6
(1) Illumination bulbs are positioned between terminals No. 1 and 2. Replace illumination bulb and retest before replacing switch.
(2) Activation bulbs are positioned between terminals No. 3 and 6. Replace bulb and retest before replacing switch.
