Seat Heater
Remove seat to be tested. See FRONT SEATS under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Disconnect seat heating element connectors. Using an ohmmeter, verify continuity between terminals. See SEAT HEATER CONTINUITY table. See Fig 1 . Continuity should exist. If continuity does not exist, replace faulty seat heater.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:

- • Brakes feel soft, pull hard to one side, or make grinding noises.
- • The engine overheats, stalls repeatedly, or misfires under load.
- • You are missing required tools, torque specs, or safe lifting equipment.
