Immobilizer Receiver: Removal
2004 Acura 3.5RLSECTION Removal
- Remove instrument panel lower cover. Rotate ignition key light socket and remove from ignition key light ring. Loosen ignition key light ring screw and remove light ring. Disconnect immobilizer receiver 3-pin connector. Remove ignition key switch. Remove key cylinder housing retaining screw.
- Insert ignition key and turn to ACC position. Push lock pin and remove key cylinder by pulling on ignition key. DO NOT pull on immobilizer receiver. See Figure. Turn ignition key to LOCK position and remove it from immobilizer receiver. Turn immobilizer receiver clockwise, and remove it.
