Trunk Key Cylinder Switch

2004 Acura 3.5RLSECTION Trunk Key Cylinder Switch

Open trunk lid and remove trunk lid inner trim. Disconnect trunk key cylinder switch 2-pin connector. Using DVOM, check continuity between trunk key cylinder switch connector terminals. Continuity should exist when master key is inserted into trunk key cylinder and turned to UNLOCK position (clockwise). Continuity should not exist when key cylinder is in neutral position (released). If continuity is not as specified, replace trunk key cylinder switch.
