Hood Switch
Open hood. Locate hood switch 2-pin connector behind center support and disconnect connector. See Figure . Using DVOM, check continuity between hood switch connector terminals. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Continuity should exist when hood lever is released (hood open). Continuity should not exist when hood lever is depressed (hood closed). If continuity is not as specified, replace hood switch.

When to See a Mechanic
