2004 Acura 3.5RLSECTION Washer Motor
  1. Turn ignition switch to OFF position. Remove right front (3.2TL) or left front (3.5RL) inner fender panel to access pump. Disconnect 2-pin harness connector at motor. See Fig 1 . Connect battery voltage to terminal No. 1 and ground terminal No. 2. Washer motor should operate smoothly and fluid should spray from outlet nozzles. Replace washer motor if it does not operate.
  2. If motor operates, but little or no fluid is discharged from nozzles, check for disconnected or restricted fluid hoses and/or outlet nozzles. Repair as necessary. If fluid hoses are okay, check for clogged washer motor outlet. If no faults are found, replace washer motor.
