2004 Acura 3.5RLSECTION Unit Check
UNIT CHECK menu will display DISP, GPS, NAVI ECU, SYSTEM HISTORY, CAR STATUS, BACKUP CLEAR and FORCE DOWNLOAD keys. FORCE DOWNLOAD key is for manufacturer's use only. Touch any other item key to be tested:
- DISP - When connection shows NG (no good), check for open or short in communication line. See WIRING DIAGRAMSΒ . If communication line is okay, replace display unit. When ROM or RAM show NG, replace display unit.
- GPS - This screen shows condition of GPS reception and vehicle position.
- NAVI ECU - If any item shows NG, replace navigation unit.
- SYSTEM HISTORY - This screen is for manufacturer's use only. DO NOT touch CLR switch. Otherwise, system history will be cleared.
- CAR STATUS - If indication does not match actual vehicle status, check appropriate signal line. See CAR STATUS MENUΒ table.
- BACKUP CLEAR - This screen is for manufacturer's use only.
