A/T Gear Position Switch: 3.2TL

- Disconnect A/T gear position switch 10-pin harness connector. Using ohmmeter, check continuity between specified terminals in relation to shift lever position. See Fig 1. See A/T GEAR POSITION SWITCH CONTINUITY (3.2TL)Β table.
- If continuity is not as specified, A/T gear position switch may require adjustment. See A/T GEAR POSITION SWITCHΒ under ADJUSTMENTS. If correct continuity cannot be obtained by adjusting A/T gear position switch, replace A/T gear position switch.
