MAINSHAFT Speed Sensor: Removal
2004 Acura 3.5RLSECTION Removal
- Mainshaft speed sensor is located on transaxle. See Figure . Pull carpet back on passenger's side. Disconnect secondary HO2S harness connector located under passenger's seat.
- Remove exhaust pipe and catalytic converter. Remove heat shields. Place jack under transaxle, and take weight off mounts and support beam. Remove shift cable bracket and transaxle support beam.
- Lower transaxle with jack. Remove bolt, speed sensor washer, mainshaft speed sensor and "O" ring.
