- Check idle air control valve. See DTC P05xx: IDLE AIR CONTROL SYSTEM MALFUNCTION in appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article.
- Check idle air control thermal valve (3.5RL). See IDLE AIR CONTROL THERMAL VALVE under IDLE CONTROL SYSTEM in SYSTEM & COMPONENT TESTING article.
- Check intake air temperature sensor (IAT) circuit. See DTC P011x: INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR CIRCUIT in appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article.
- Check idle speed adjustment. See ON-VEHICLE ADJUSTMENTS article.
