Ignition Switch: RSX
Disable air bag system. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. Remove instrument panel lower cover. Disconnect ignition switch 5-pin harness connector, located in underdash fuse/relay box. Using DVOM, check for continuity between specified terminals in each switch position. See IGNITION SWITCH CONTINUITY (RSX)Β table. See Fig 1 . If continuity is not as specified, replace ignition switch. See appropriate STEERING COLUMN & SWITCHES article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.

When to See a Mechanic
Stop DIY work and contact a certified mechanic immediately if any of the following apply:
