Piston Pin Installation

2004 Acura 3.5RLSECTION Piston Pin Installation
  1. Install one piston pin snap ring on piston. Heat piston to about 158Β°F (70Β°C). Coat piston pin bore, connecting rod bore and piston pin with engine oil.
  2. Install piston with its offset mark and oil hole in connecting rod on the same side. See Figure. Install piston pin. Install remaining piston pin snap ring.
