Oil Pump: Inspection
Measure inner-to-outer rotor clearance. Measure housing-to-rotor axial clearance. Measure housing-to-outer rotor clearance. Replace components if not within specification. See OIL PUMP SPECIFICATIONSΒ table. Inspect both rotors and pump housing for scoring or other damage and replace if necessary.
