Turn ignition on. Using scan tool, check throttle angle. With throttle valve fully open, if TP angle is 12.2 percent on A/T (12.9 percent on M/T) or more, problem is intermittent. System functioning properly at this time. If TP angle is less than 12.2 percent on A/T (12.9 percent on M/T), replace throttle body.
