Left Mirror Inoperative (2.5TL)

  1. Connect a jumper wire between 10-pin connector terminal No. 9 (Yellow/Black wire) and terminal No. 7 (Yellow/White wire). See Figure. Connect jumper wire between 10-pin connector terminal No. 5 (Blue/White wire) and ground. Turn ignition on. Left mirror should tilt down. If mirror does not tilt down, check for open in Blue/White wire. If wire is okay, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Move jumper wire from 10-pin connector terminal No. 5 (Blue/White wire) to terminal No. 4 (Light Green wire). Turn ignition on. Left mirror should swing left. If mirror does not swing left, check for open in Light Green wire. If wire is okay, check left mirror motor. See POWER MIRROR MOTOR TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS. If mirror does not tilt down and does not swing left, check for open in Yellow/White wire. If mirror operates correctly, check power mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH TEST  under COMPONENT TESTS.
