SERVICE INFORMATION

The steering angle sensor neutral position check and memorization procedure is wrong in the 1996-01 3.5RL S/M, and it's missing entirely from the 2003 and 2004 3.5RL Service Manual Supplement.

When troubleshooting VSA DTC 27 (steering angle sensor) or when doing the steering angle sensor neutral position check and memorization procedure, refer to page 19-7 of the 2002 3.5RL Service Manual Supplement. You can also access this info in ISIS. Select 3.5RL, 2002  , type in keyword STEERING ANGLE  , and then click on Search  . Select Steering Angle Sensor Neutral Position Check and Memorizing  from the menu.
