- Disconnect negative battery cable. On hatchback models, fold seat-backs forward. Remove clips securing trunk mat to seat-backs and remove trunk mat. Remove clip pin on both sides of seat. See Fig 1. Slide seat-backs outward and remove seat-backs from pivot bracket. See Fig 1. Remove bolts located behind center of seat cushion. Disconnect seat cushion securing hooks and seat cushion.
- On Sedan models, fold seat-backs forward. Remove clips securing trunk mat to seat-backs. Disconnect hook located at front center of seat-back. See Fig 2. Remove remove trunk mat. Remove rear seat pivot bracket bolts. Remove bolts located behind center of seat cushion. See Fig 2. On all models, remove access panel. Disconnect fuel pump. Remove fuel pump nuts and pump. To install reverse removal procedure.
