- Turn ignition on. Move gear shift selector lever through all gear positions while noting instrument panel gear selection display. If gear position matches indicator, no adjustment is necessary.
- If display does not match selected position, loosen switch retaining bolts and rotate switch to adjust. Ensure vehicle starts only in Park or Neutral, and that back-up light comes on with gear selector in Reverse.
