  1. Locate multiplex control system Green 2-pin SCS service connector, behind left kick panel. See Figure . Turn ignition switch to OFF position for at least 10 seconds. Connect SCS Service Connector Tool (07PAZ-0010100) to SCS service connector for at least 5 seconds.
  2. If ignition switch key light and buzzer do not come on, system is okay and no DTCs are stored. If DTC is stored, ignition switch key light will flash and buzzer will simultaneously sound within one second, indicating a DTC. Indicated DTC will repeat every 3 seconds.
  3. If DTCs are indicated, go to appropriate diagnostic test procedure. See DTC TEST DIRECTORY under DIAGNOSTIC TESTS. If no DTCs are indicated, go to WAKE-UP FUNCTION TESTS. If no DTCs are indicated, and ignition switch key light and/or buzzer operation are known to be abnormal, go to IGNITION SWITCH KEY LIGHT & BUZZER CIRCUIT TEST.
