Gearshift Position Switch: 3.2TL
Raise vehicle. Disconnect gearshift position switch connector. Use a DVOM and check for continuity between specified terminals while moving the gearshift lever to specified positions. Refer to the GEARSHIFT POSITION SWITCH TEST (3.2TL)Β table. Also, see Fig 1 . If switch tests okay, test is complete. If switch does not indicate continuity in any position, adjust switch and retest. See ADJUSTMENTSΒ . If one or more terminals do not indicate continuity, replace switch. See GEARSHIFT POSITION SWITCHΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
