- Remove power steering pump from vehicle. See POWER STEERING PUMPΒ under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Using Universal Holder (07725-0030000) to hold pump pulley, remove pulley bolt. Pulley bolt has left-hand threads. Remove pump pulley. Remove control valve cap, control valve and spring. Remove "O" ring from control valve. See Figure.
- Remove inlet joint and "O" ring. Remove pump cover and cover seal. Remove outer side plate, pump cam ring, rotor, vanes, side plate and "O" rings. Remove circlip from drive shaft. Using a plastic mallet, remove drive shaft assembly with bearing from pump housing. Remove pump seal spacer and pump seal.
