Temperature Sending Unit Test

1997 Acura Integra GS-R, 2D CoupeSECTION Temperature Sending Unit Test

Disconnect Yellow/Green wire from coolant temperature sending unit. Sending unit is threaded into cylinder head. With engine cold, measure resistance between sending unit terminal and ground. With engine warm (when radiator cooling fan operates), repeat resistance measurement. Resistance must be as specified in COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENDING UNIT RESISTANCE table.
