Main Switch

1997 Acura Integra GS-R, 2D CoupeSECTION Main Switch
  1. Remove main switch from instrument panel. With main switch in OFF position, check for continuity between main switch terminals "B" and "C", and between terminals "D" and "E". See Fig 1 . If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, replace defective bulb. After replacing bulb, repeat test. If switch continuity is not as specified, replace main switch.
  2. Turn main switch to ON position. Check for continuity between main switch terminals "A" and "B", "B" and "C", and "D" and "E". If continuity exists, switch is okay. If continuity does not exist between main switch terminals "A" and "B", replace switch. If continuity does not exist between main switch terminals "B" and "C" or terminals "D" and "E", go to next step.
  3. Replace defective bulb inside main switch. After replacing bulb, repeat step 2). If continuity is not as specified, replace main switch.
