Mode Control Motor

1997 Acura 2.2CL StandardSECTION Mode Control Motor
  1. Disconnect mode control motor 7-pin connector. Connect battery voltage mode control motor terminal No. 1 and ground terminal No. 7. See Fig 1 . Connect jumper wire between terminal No. 7 and terminal No. 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 individually, in order. Mode control motor should run and stop.
    NOTE: If mode control motor does not run when jumping terminal No. 1, jump terminal No. 1 again after jumping all others. Mode control motor is okay if it runs after jumping terminal No. 1 again.
  2. If mode control still does not run, remove mode control motor. Check mode control motor linkage and doors for smooth operation. If doors and linkage are okay, replace mode control motor.
