SRS Unit: Removal

- Before proceeding, read service precautions. See SERVICE PRECAUTIONSΒ . Disable both air bag systems. See procedures under DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEMΒ .
- Pull down carpeting from both sides of heater ducts. See Figure. Disconnect SRS main harness 18P connector from SRS unit. See Figure. Remove 4 Torx bolts securing SRS control unit, then pull out SRS control unit from passenger-side.
