DTC B1905: Immobilizer-Keyless Control Unit Lost Communication with Driver's MPCS Unit (DRLOCKSW Message)
NOTE:
If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see
TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A
).
- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).
- Wait for at least 6 seconds.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Is DTC B1905 indicated?
YES -Go to step 5.
NO -Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections between the immobilizer-keyless control unit and the driver's MPCS unit.
- Check for DTCs with the HDS.
Are DTCs B1015, B1065, B1182, and/or B1356 also Indicated?
YES -Do the driver's MPCS unit input test (see DRIVER'S MPCS UNIT INPUT TEST ).
NO -Do the immobilizer-keyless control unit input test (see IMMOBILIZER-KEYLESS CONTROL UNIT INPUT TEST ).
