DTC Troubleshooting: B1136, B1148

DTC B1136:

Internal Right Rear Power Window Sub Switch Malfunction

DTC B1148:

Internal Left Rear Power Window Sub Switch Malfunction

NOTE:

- If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A Troubleshooting - B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A.
- Information marked with an asterisk (*) applies to the right rear power window.

1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.

2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0) and then back to ON (II).

3. Check for DTCs with the HDS.

Is DTC B1136* or B1148 indicated?

YES -

Replace the left (right)* rear power window switch Passenger's Power Window Switch Test/Replacement.�

NO -

Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time. Check for loose or poor connections.�
