Diagnostic Trouble Codes 17100 / P0716 - 5 Spd. Automatic Transmission 01V
1) First check harness connectors for contact corrosion and water ingress, replace if necessary.
2) Pay attention to which hydraulic control the transmission has when selecting measuring value block.
Note for DTC 17100 / P0716:
^ Requirement for malfunction recognition: A drive mode (D, 4, 3, or 2) is definitely selected, no in-between positions. The engine speed while driving is larger than 608 RPM. The transmission output RPM while driving is larger than 416 RPM.
^ The DTC will be displayed if the conditions for malfunction recognition have been met and the transmission input RPM is 0 RPM or larger than 8000 RPM.
