SERVICE INFORMATION

Unless you're troubleshooting a '97 or later NSX, if you're reading a DTC P1279 (VTEC pressure switch/solenoid problem) on the display screen of the HDS or the PGM Tester, it's a bogus DTC. Refer to DTC P1259 (VTEC system malfunction) in the appropriate S/M, and troubleshoot accordingly. (Online, enter keyword P1259  , and select DTC Troubleshooting: P1259 (22)  ... from the list.)
