Quick Testing the System
Test phases, quick test fuel tank system
Reference
Reference phase for leakage, and operating check of the leak diagnostic unit (DMTL), is in progress.
If no fault is detected during this phase, the check for major leakage starts.
If a fault is detected during this phase the test is stopped and the parameter "DMTL, test status" shows "Fault Found". The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) for the detect fault is stored in the Engine control module (ECM).
Major leak
Investigation of the fuel tank system in progress.
If no fault is detected during this phase, the check for minor leakage starts.
If leakage is detected during this phase the test is stopped and the parameter "Tank system test result" shows "Major leak found". The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored in the Engine control module (ECM).
Minor leak
Investigation of the fuel tank system in progress.
If leakage is detected during this phase the test is stopped and the parameter "Tank system test result" shows "Minor leak found". The diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored in the Engine control module (ECM).
Not in progress
Leakage diagnosis not in progress. Quick-test tank system has not started, has been finished, or has been blocked.
