2000 Volkswagen EuroVan BaseFACTORY OEM SERVICE PROCEDURE
All Models
- In order to perform remote transmitter reprogramming, 2 programmed ignition keys must be used. Insert master key into ignition lock and turn ignition switch to ON position. DO NOT start engine.
- Close and lock driver's door from outside of vehicle with second programmed ignition key. Press lock or unlock button on remote transmitter once and then wait 2 seconds. Press either button (lock or unlock) once more (one time only).
- Turn ignition switch to OFF position and remove master key from ignition lock. Remote transmitter reprogramming is completed and should be functional. Each new key must be programmed as described.
NOTE:
Step 2) must be performed within 30 seconds.
