2AZ-FE ENGINE CONTROL: ECM: REMOVAL
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal
3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY WITH HOSE Removal
4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE Removal
5. REMOVE ECM
(a) Separate the wire harness clamp.
(b) Disconnect the 2 ECM connectors.
(1) Push the locks on the 2 levers, then raise the levers, and disconnect the 2 ECM connectors.
NOTICE:
After disconnecting the connectors, make sure that dirt, water or other foreign matter does not contact the connecting parts of the connectors.
(c) Remove the 3 bolts and the ECM.
(d) Remove the 4 screws and 2 ECM brackets.
