Inspection Procedure

NOTE: When replacing the skid control ECU, perform initialization of linear solenoid valve and calibration (see INITIALIZATION  ).
  1. PERFORM ACTIVE TEST BY INTELLIGENT TESTER (SLIP INDICATOR LIGHT) 
    1. Select the ACTIVE TEST, generate a control command, and then check that the SLIP indicator light operates.

      Skid control ECU

      SLIP INDI LIGHT Turns SLIP indicator light ON / OFF Observe combination meter

      OK : Turn the SLIP indicator light on or off. 

    OK : REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU 

    NG : GO TO NEXT STEP 

  2. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
    1. Check if a CAN communication system DTC is output (see DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM ).

      Result

      DTC is not output A
      DTC is output B

    B : REPAIR CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 

    A : Go to next step 

  3. CHECK MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 
    1. Check if a multiplex communication system DTC is output.

      Result

      DTC is not output A
      DTC is output B

    B : REPAIR MULTIPLEX COMMUNICATION SYSTEM 

    A : REPAIR OR REPLACE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY
