- INSPECT FUEL INJECTOR ASSY
- Check the resistance.
- Using an ohmmeter measure the resistance between the terminals.
Standard:
TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION (1ZZ-FE [2WD], 2ZZ-GE)Tester Connection Specified Condition 1-2 11.6to12.4 Ω at 20°C (680°F) TESTER CONNECTION AND SPECIFIED CONDITION (1ZZ-FE[4WD])Tester Connection Specified Condition 1-2 13.4 to 14.2 flat 20° C (68° F) If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel injector.
- Using an ohmmeter measure the resistance between the terminals.
- Check the injection volume.NOTE:
- Perform the test in a well-ventilated area and watch out for flames.
- Handle the fuel tube connector carefully.
- Check the resistance.
