EFI Main Relay: Inspection
- REMOVE RELAY BOX COVER
- REMOVE EFI MAIN RELAY (Marking: EFI)
- INSPECT EFI MAIN RELAY
- Inspect the relay continuity.
- Using an ohmmeter, check that there is a continuity between terminal 1 and 3.
If there is no continuity, replace the relay.
- Check that there is no continuity between terminals 2 and 4.
If there is a continuity, replace the relay.
- Using an ohmmeter, check that there is a continuity between terminal 1 and 3.
- Inspect the relay operation.
- Apply battery positive voltage across terminals 1 and 3.
- Using an ohmmeter, check that there is a continuity between terminal 2 and 4.
If there is no continuity, replace the relay.
- Inspect the relay continuity.
- REINSTALL EFI MAIN RELAY
- REINSTALL RELAY BOX COVER
