ISC Actuator

  1. Disconnect ISC actuator connector. Using an ohmmeter, ensure continuity exists between ISC actuator terminals "D" (Black/Blue wire) and "E" (Gray/Green wire). Hold throttle open, away from ISC actuator.
  2. Using 3 new 1.5-volt batteries in series, connect batteries to ISC actuator terminals "D" and "E". DO NOTΒ  connect batteries for more than one second.
  3. With positive side of batteries connected to ISC actuator terminal "D", ensure actuator expands. With positive side of batteries connected to ISC actuator terminal "E", ensure actuator contracts. If any of ISC actuator tests fail, replace lower throttle body.
