Outer Mirror Control Module: Removal
Before handling the airbag system components, refer to "CAUTION" of "General Description" in "AIRBAG SYSTEM". Ref. to AIRBAG SYSTEM>GENERAL DESCRIPTION>CAUTION .
- When replacing the outer mirror control module, perform the following steps.
- Using the Subaru Select Monitor, perform [Read Control module setting information] in [Work Support] of [Door Mirror (Driver)] or [Door Mirror (Passenger)]. Ref. to DOOR MIRROR (DIAGNOSTICS)>WORK SUPPORT>OPERATION > READ CONTROL MODULE SETTING INFORMATION .
- According to the display screen, save and close the file.
- Disconnect the ground terminal from the battery sensor, and wait for at least 60 seconds before starting work. Ref. to REPAIR CONTENTS>NOTE>BATTERY .
- Remove the trim panel front door. Ref. to EXTERIOR/INTERIOR TRIM>DOOR TRIM>REMOVAL>FRONT DOOR .
- Remove the screws to remove outer mirror control module.
