Intake Manifold Assembly: Assembly

  1. Install the fuel delivery pipe.
  2. Install the vacuum hose (B).
  3. Install the purge control solenoid valve bracket (A).

    Tightening torque: 

    6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)

  4. Install the fuel delivery tube clamp.
  5. Install the vacuum pipe and vacuum hose.

    Tightening torque: 

    6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)

  6. Install the collector cover bracket. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>COLLECTOR COVER>INSTALLATION .
  7. Install the manifold absolute pressure sensor. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>MANIFOLD ABSOLUTE PRESSURE SENSOR>INSTALLATION .
  8. Install the purge control solenoid valve. Ref. to EMISSION CONTROL (AUX. EMISSION CONTROL DEVICES) (H4DO)>PURGE CONTROL SOLENOID VALVE>INSTALLATION .
  9. Install the fuel injector (port injection side). Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>FUEL INJECTOR>INSTALLATION>PORT INJECTION SIDE .
  10. When the engine coolant has been drained before removing the intake manifold assembly
    1. Install the throttle body. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DO)>THROTTLE BODY>INSTALLATION .
