Oil Level Switch: Installation
- Use a new O-ring to install the oil level switch, and secure the harness with the clip.NOTE: Apply engine oil to O-ring.
Tightening torque:
6.4 N.m (0.7 kgf-m, 4.7 ft-lb)
- Secure the harness with clip, and connect the connector.
- Install the engine mounting LH.
Tightening torque:
35 N.m (3.6 kgf-m, 25.8 ft-lb)
- Lower the engine and remove the lifting device and wire ropes.
- Remove the ST1 and ST2 from the engine unit.
- Install the TCM. Refer to CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSMISSION (TR580)>TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM)>INSTALLATION .
- Install the front drive shaft LH. Refer to PROPELLER SHAFT/DRIVE SHAFT/AXLE>Front Drive Shaft>INSTALLATION .
- Install the electric power steering gearbox. Refer to POWER ASSISTED SYSTEM (POWER STEERING)>Electric Power Steering Gearbox>INSTALLATION .
- Install the nuts which hold the engine mounting to the crossmember COMPL front.CAUTION: Be sure to use a new nut.
