2018 Subaru Forester 2.0XT PremiumFACTORY OEM SERVICE PROCEDURE
LH Side
- Remove the collector cover.
- Remove the clip (A).
- Hold the shaded area (B) by hand and carefully pull the RH side (C) upward.
- Hold the shaded area (D) by hand and carefully pull the LH side (E) upward.
- Disconnect the ground cable from battery.
- Remove the intercooler. Ref. to INTAKE (INDUCTION) (H4DOTC)>INTERCOOLER>REMOVAL .
- Remove the throttle body. Ref. to FUEL INJECTION (FUEL SYSTEMS) (H4DOTC)>Throttle Body>REMOVAL .
- Remove the bolts securing the engine wiring harness.
- Disconnect the connector (A) from the knock sensor, and remove the knock sensor from the cylinder block.
