Automatic Transmission Fluid: Replacement
CAUTION:
If the ATF is spilt over exhaust pipe, wipe it off with cloth to avoid emitting smoke or causing a fire.
- Lift up the vehicle.
- Drain the ATF (Automatic Transmission Fluid) by removing drain plug.NOTE: Before starting work, cool off the ATF well.
- Check the condition of ATF drained. < Ref. to CONDITION CHECK , Automatic Transmission Fluid. >
- Replace the gasket with new part, and then tighten the drain plug to specified torque.
Tightening torque:
25 N.m (2.5 kgf-m, 18.4 ft-lb)
- Lower the vehicle.
- Pour ATF from the oil charge pipe.
Recommended fluid:

Fluid capacity:
Fill the same amount of ATF drained from ATF drain plug hole.
