2008 Subaru Forester XT, StandardFACTORY OEM SERVICE PROCEDURE

LH Side

Release the fuel pressure. <Ref. to RELEASING OF FUEL PRESSURE , PROCEDURE, Fuel. >
Disconnect the ground cable from the battery.

Open the fuel filler flap lid, and remove the fuel filler cap.
Remove the collector cover.
Remove the intake manifold.
<Ref. to REMOVAL , Intake Manifolds. >
Remove the fuel pipe protector LH.

Disconnect the connector from fuel injector.
Remove the two bolts which hold fuel pipes on the left side of intake manifold.

Remove the bolt which holds fuel injector pipe onto intake manifold.
