Intake Manifold: Removal
2002 Subaru Forester BaseSECTION Removal
- Release fuel pressure. RELEASING OF FUEL PRESSURE .
- Open fuel flap lid, and remove fuel filler cap.
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove air intake duct and air cleaner assembly. Refer to AIR INTAKE DUCT and AIR CLEANER CASE .
- Disconnect accelerator cable (A).
- Disconnect cruise control cable (B). (With cruise control model)
- Remove power steering pump and tank from brackets.
- Remove resonator chamber. Refer to RESONATOR CHAMBER .
- Remove front side V-belt. Refer to V-BELT
- Remove bolts which hold power steering pipes brackets onto intake manifold.NOTE: Do not disconnect power steering hose.
