Fuel Filler Pipe: Installation
2002 Subaru Forester BaseSECTION Installation
- Set fuel filler pipe from under side of vehicle, and hold it on fuel filler flap .
- Connect fuel filler pipe into fuel filler hose.
- Lower the vehicle.
- Temporarily tighten screws which install fuel filler pipe on filler lid open.
- Connect evaporation hoses to pipes.
- Lift-up the vehicle.
- Tighten clamp bolt which holds fuel filler hose.
- Install two evaporation hoses to clip.
- Connect evaporation hose to joint pipe.
- Lower the vehicle.
- While holding the under side of protector cover on bracket, install it.
- Tighten bolts which install protector cover on body.
- Tighten screws which install fuel filler pipe on filler lid open.
- Install rear right wheel.
- install fuel filler cap.
- Connect connector to fuel pump relay.
- Connect battery ground terminal.
