2002 Subaru Forester BaseFACTORY OEM SERVICE PROCEDURE
Throttle Body: Removal
- Disconnect battery ground cable.
- Remove air cleaner case. Refer to AIR CLEANER CASE .
- Disconnect accelerator cable (A).
- Disconnect cruise control cable (B). (With cruise control model)
- Disconnect connectors from idle air control solenoid valve, throttle position sensor.
- Disconnect air by-pass hose from throttle body.
- Disconnect engine coolant hoses from throttle body.
- Remove bolts which install throttle body to intake manifold
