Safety Warning

Battery Specifications: Notes
All 1987-89 vehicles are delivered with maintenance-free battery and water need never be added. Under normal conditions, battery delivered with later model vehicles is maintenance-free and does not require additional water. However, under severe conditions it is advisable to check battery fluid periodically. Use only distilled water to fill battery cell should it becomes necessary. For some models, charge condition can be checked by a visual test indicator on top of battery. Blue signal indicates adequate charge level and White indicates charging is required.
