Throttle Body: Installation

  1. INSTALL THROTTLE BODY ASSEMBLY 
    1. Install a new gasket onto the intake manifold.

    2. install the throttle body assembly with the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.

      Torque: 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)

    3. Connect the water by-pass hose and the No. 2 water by-pass hose.

    4. Connect the throttle body assembly connector.

  2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB - ASSEMBLY WITH HOSE 
    1. Install air cleaner cap sub-assembly with hose and lock the 2 clamps.
    2. Tighten the hose clamp to the specified torque.

      Torque: 3.0 N*m (31 kgf*cm, 27 in.*lbf)

    3. Connect the No. 2 ventilation hose.

    4. Connect the wire harness clamp and mass air flow meter connector.

  3. ADD ENGINE COOLANT  (See REPLACEMENT )
  4. INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK  (See ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION )
  5. INSTALL NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER  (See INSTALLATION )
